Minneapolis, MN (March 12, 2009)— Professional BMX rider and full time web developer, Dustin Griess has released BMX Grub, an application for the iPhone and iPod Touch. BMX Grub is a simple collection of the latest and most pertinent BMX news organized into one application. The application is available for download from Apple’s iTunes App Store at no cost.

“BMX has a silent absence from the App Store” says Griess, “Not only is this a perfect opportunity to launch an exciting application for BMX enthusiasts, it is an incredible learning experience to broaden my programming and marketing skills”. BMX Grub is officially the first BMX-specific application available in the App Store.

With the touch of a finger, BMX enthusiasts can browse through the latest web content from professional media, blogs, vendors, and dealers. In addition to providing quick and easy access to news & media, BMX Grub is also promoting the Stay Strong Apparel Line by professional BMX rider Stephen Murray, who became paralyzed while competing at the Action Sports Tour in Baltimore MA in June of 2007.

In 2006, Griess launched InterBMX.com, which is utilized by more than 13,000 BMX riders worldwide. Griess is also an instructor at Hennepin Technical College.
