I love checking out new places and driving through new areas, and I have done the drive across America to California more times than I can count. We needed to drive from California back to Minnesota once again, however this time I started looking into alternative routes back home and we looked at the northern route through Northern California all the way up to Montana. We went through Yosemite, Reno, big sky, and even into Yellowstone. It was so sick seen Yellowstone in the winter, as we laughed we even got caught in a winter snow storm in the drive back through North Dakota was insane. It was so epic though. I highly recommend doing this route instead of the normal route through Denver. Safe travels!
