What does an Internet SCAM look like? WARNING: This is NOT Talaria’s TalariaEBikes.com (MX3, MX4 Sting R, MX5, XXX)

I’ve just confirmed everything via Luna Cycle who is the only authorized reseller in the United States… Read the entire story & see all screenshots below…

Website looks legit as a first impression, even great documentation, and plus, Talaria oddly doesn’t even have their own website, so at first this starts to make a bit of sense:

CORRECTION: Talaria’s official factory website is www.talaria.cn however you can not buy direct.

So then you get to checkout, and oddly they do not accept credit cards, only Bitcoin and Bank Transfer… There’s the first red flag, and plus they are offering a 25% off discount which NEVER happens with these machines…

As a web developer I knew this was Woocommerce, and I know how the backend of this store would behave. I selected Bank Transfer knowing that it likely would not ask for bank details, and sure enough, it confirmed my order…

And funny, they never even updated the standard Woocommerce email template… C’mon guys…

So then I receive an email from their “Support” asking for payment…

Talaria doesn’t have a website they’re a factory in china, we’re the only authorized distributor here in North America. That website is fake that’s why the only payment option they accept is wire it’s very hard to reverse that transaction. If you already placed that order I would strongly recommend contacting your bank and stop the transfer. -Luna Cycle

And so then I knew that Luna Cycle is the leader in this space, so I just forwarded them the email and asked for their thoughts, and sure enough, complete scam…

I did a little more digging and looked into who owns the domain name… Private registration, however located in Rotterdam, Netherlands/Holland… Anyone else know anything more? Domain registered in September of 2023:
